January 12, 2015: “Myxomycete diversity of the Patagonian Steppe and bordering areas in Argentina” has just been published in the journal Anales del Jardín Botánico de Madrid. This research study, led by Carlos Lado, forms part of the Myxotropic Project, and reports the first survey to cover such an extensive area in South America. A total of 133 different species and 5 varieties of myxomycetes representing 31 genera were identified. Download the PDF here: (Lado et al., 2015).
